This GKM convention held 5 competitions; GKM Team Performance, GKM Logo, GKM yell-yell, GKM Jingle, and GKM Poster. For GKM Team Performance, the winner was from PT. Mayora Indah Tbk Wafer Division with theme “ Optimalisasi Kerja Boiler Untuk Penghematan Energi Gas / Optimizing Boiler for Gas Saving”

The convention was deemed to give hope and spirit on better work performances for all Mayora employees. This was in line with Mr. Henry Atmadja’s statement “I’m very proud with what they presented, it seems to me that they have put a lot of effort on current condition and I’m confident that (they) will be better in the future”

With the involvement from all employees, from top level management to operator level, Mr. Heri Soesanto wished that this GKM Convention could be the “fire” for Mayora to continuously make the improvement in all sectors.

Mayora believes in the motto “Every leader is a trainer”, meaning every leader needs to have the ability to give training.  Therefore Mayora holds Training sessions frequently.

For example,on 2 December 2011, 30 participants joined this training conducted at Mayora Distribution Center.

After completing this training, every participant was assigned to a specific task, to give a training on their work location based on their area of expertise.

This training was joined by 37 participants from each Mayora Factory and conducted by PT. Rekapura Lintas Perdana.

After completing this training, the participants received Surat Ijin Operasional Forklift (Forklift Operator License), issued by Labor and Transmigration Department.

Upon passing this training, the participants received Surat Ijin Operasional Boiler (Boiler Operator License) issued by Labor and Transmigration Department.

Due to the growing numbers of Coupons Scam claiming as PT.MAYORA INDAH Tbk, the producer of ROMA BETTER and ROMA MALKIST, so we would like to clarify that PT. MAYORA INDAH Tbk does not have Coupons Program this year.

The modus operandi of this scam is to ask the consumers to transfer some money for
Administration fee, Title Transfer Fee and tax.

Sehubungan dengan maraknya penipuan undian berhadiah yang mengatasnamakan PT MAYORA INDAH, Tbk. selaku produsen Biskuit ROMA BETTER dan ROMA MALKIST, kami informasikan bahwa PT. MAYORA INDAH, Tbk. sepanjang tahun 2011 ini TIDAK mengadakan program undian berhadiah.

Modus yang dilakukan oleh sindikat penipuan tersebut adalah meminta konsumen untuk melakukan transfer sejumlah uang dengan alasan biaya administrasi, biaya balik nama kendaraan maupun pajak kendaraan.

Every 6 months, Mayora ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 certified factories are audited for consistency checking. Therefore, on September 30, 2011, one of Mayora factories, PT Torabika Eka Semesta, was audited by SGS Auditor team for ISO 9001:2008 and the result was no findings.

The audit team concludes that the organization has established and maintained its management system in line with the requirements of the standard and demonstrated the ability of the system to systematically achieve agreed requirements for products or services within the scope and the organizations policy and objectives.

This result shows that Torabika Eka Semesta has been consistently maintained its quality management system as one of the leading food company with its distinguished brand Torabika.
