Billboard Solar Power

Kopiko demonstrated a commitment to the environment by installing solar powered billboards in the Philippines. The solar-powered billboards lights at night when batteries have already stored energy during the day. These billboards do not require a grid electrical connection, which significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions and lowers overall energy consumption.

The solar powered billboards have been installed in 32 cities in the Philippines. Each billboard requires 100 solar watts equating to 100 amperes which is more than enough to illuminate the billboard at night for 10-12 hours. The excess electricity fed back into the grid will allow the billboards to light and stores to operate once again after dark.

This solar-powered billboard is a powerful symbol of Kopiko’s commitment to greener practices.
